Students’ Spiritual Life

The whole impetus of the residential program is to help each student grow in his/her Christian life. The campus with its calm and serene atmosphere provids ample opportunity for quiet meditation and prayer. Utmost importance is given to the  devotional life of the students. All students are expected to attend the daily chapel service and be actively involved in it.

Students are expected to participate in any  special prayer meetings, seminars and conferences arranged for them. Students  are also encouraged to have personal quiet time in prayer and meditation. Further details may be found in the Students Handbook.

Students’ Personal Life

Every student is expected to live a life of separation from all harmful and spiritually degrading pursuits. Student should strive to maintain the highest standards of Christian fellowship and will be expected to be thoughtful and courteous to their teachers, fellow students and others. Indecent behaviour, use of profane or suggestive languages should be desisted. Students are not allowed to initiate, participate, actively involve in any strike, group meetings, form unions or take part in any political activity either inside or outside the campus which will create student agitation. Swearing, smoking, use of alcohol and narcotic drugs, chewing betel leaf or gutka or using snuff, regular attendance in cinema halls and gambling are prohibited.

Student in the Dormitories

Students learn to live together as a family though they come from different socio-cultural backgrounds. Students have good facilities for developing in their talents and abilities. There is excellent opportunity  for interaction and learning to live together with unity in diversity. Students are usually assigned their rooms in such a way that a senior and a junior student are room mates. In this way the junior  student receives additional counselling and  guidance. Hostel wardens and residential faculty provide the required Christian counselling and spiritual guidance.
