New Delhi Campus

India Bible Institute and Immanuel Theological Seminary is located in the  farm house area of south Delhi. It is 12 kilometers from the airport and 28 kilometers from New Delhi railway station. It is just a few kilometers from the historical monument Qutab Minar, near the famous Chattarpur Temple. Located in the quiet and serene green belt of Delhi, it provides an ideal location for a Seminary. Being very close to the Asola bird sanctuary the campus is frequented by exotic migratory birds, and peacocks. The ten-acre campus is filled with fruit trees and lush green lawns with flower beds.

Paranthal Campus

The Seminary at Paranthal, Kerala is housed in a five acre campus, close to the M.C Road State Highway. It’s location in a valley with hillocks covered with lush green rubber plantations on three sides provide it a quiet and apt place for pursuing theological education. It is 25 kilometers from Chengannur railway station.

Campus Facilities

New Delhi Campus

The Seminary is located In the green belt of the capital city of Delhi.Its architecture is designed and laid out to merge well with the surroundings. The greenery is further enhanced with the wide range of flowering and fruit trees which lines the campus. Large open lawns in between the buildings with the quiet and serene surroundings enhance the spiritual milieu. They provide a place for students and various conference delegates to sit and do their personal and group Bible study and prayers. Being close to the Asola bird sanctuary, the campus Is frequented by a variety of migratory birds.

Church

A church situated right at the heart of the campus lays stress on the centrality of spiritual development in the Seminary programs. The church can seat 450 members and is a favourite with the various churches and organizations to hold their conventions, conferences and seminars.

Institute Block

The institute block houses 12 large lecture halls, staff/faculty rooms, offices for the Seminary, library, and conference and audio-visual centres. The lecture halls are spacious, well lit and ventilated. The lecture halls are equipped with teaching aids like OHP, black and white writing boards, slide projectors, DVD etc., making teaching and learning a pleasure.

Library

The Library forms an integral part of the curriculum. It holds large volumes of
latest books along with archives of old books, which are a treasure. The library
is daily used by the students for their study and assignments. The library holds
over 18,000 volumes of books and subscribes to over 30 Indian and foreign
journals.

The library can seat over 125 students with separate sections for group studies. It is well used by both the faculty and students. The library is fully computerized and systematically classified. Books, journals and periodicals can be accessed at any of the computers and their status verified. Plans are on to connect it to the web soon so that those interested in doing theological studies may have access to the information regarding availability of different titles. New books and journals are regularly acquired and added to the library. Reference section has a wide range of Bible Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias, Lexicons, Commentaries, Atlases etc. A separate audio library holds over 2000 audio cassettes containing lectures in various subjects and homiletic expositions.

Computer Centre

The computer centre is located in the library complex. The centre is used by the students to do their assignments and thesis work. High-speed internet facilities help the students to keep in touch through e-mail and access information through the net. Adequate provisions for printing and photocopying are provided.

Audio-Visual Centre

The audio-visual centre is located in the Institute block. It is equipped with TV, audio and video CD players and facilities for video/audio recording. It can seat a hundred students and is used for seminars, homiletic evaluation and watching various Christian documentaries and messages. During the weekends it is used for showing Christian movies.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria is located adjacent to the dormitory. It can cater to over 125 students at an instance. The quality of the food Is regularly monitored to keep it nourishing, clean, and served in a hygienic way. Student representatives ensure that the quality standards are maintained. Cafeteria schedules are listed in the Students’ Handbook.

Student Dormitories

The Seminary dormitory has rooms for 150 students on a twin sharing basis. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Common rooms for recreation and reading, in the dorms, are used well by the students. Separate dormitories are available for girls and boys.

Recreation

The Seminary offers adequate facilities for sports and games. Stress on physical development is evidenced in the various physical amenities for sports. Facilities for basket ball, badminton, volley ball, football and table tennis are used by the students daily during the games time. The gymnasium and recreation rooms are favourites with the students. Intramural sports competitions between students provide a time off from their grinding theological training.

Health Services

A well-equipped Mission Hospital on the campus meets the medical needs of the students and the faculty. Doctors of different specialities serve at the hospital. The Mission Hospital caters to the general public also. All students enrolling for the various theological courses have to get their medical examination at the mission hospital at the time of admission. Students suffering from chronic illnesses like epilepsy, tuberculosis etc… may be denied admission. All students must be covered by some form of health insurance. It may be done at the time of admission if they are not already covered.
